Palden Gyal, award winning Tibetan journalist and photographer, opened up the Tibet Shop 4 months ago in Adams Morgan. His amazing photographs are on display and for sale from his trip to Tibet in 2006- the first time he was able to get permission from the Chinese government to visit his homeland in 18 years.

In addition to his photographs, his shop has gorgeous necklaces made by his wife using Tibetan beads and stones, beautiful bags from Nepal, inspiritional posters and calendars with quotes from the Dalai Lama, and many other items from Tibet and it 's neighboring countries.
